Postcards Season Two (2023)
Today, we release the first episode in a new series of POSTCARDS – the short musical films which celebrate the place that has inspired the festival and its artists from day one: the town of Beverley in the East Riding of Yorkshire.
Curated by Artistic Director Libby Burgess, the second season of Postcards was shot in St Mary’s Church. The subject of the first video in the series is beautiful St Mary’s itself. In it Libby is joined by one of our most-loved performers, the cellist Cara Berridge:
The films will be released fortnightly, so tune in on February 17th for the next one. With seven further episodes to savour, the series will see us through into the spring!
