2023 has been a great year for us: remind yourself of some highlights below. Thank you so much to all our audiences, musicians, admin/logistics team, supporters and followers for making New Paths what it is. When music, people, community, soul and place come together there is a very special alchemy: thank you for being a part of the magic.

Autumn Festival

Spring Day
April feels a long time ago, but what a lovely day our Spring Day was. Featuring a handful of much-loved New Paths regulars, there were three concerts and a talk across the day, inspired by a theme of nature in honour of Earth Day.
Postcards
Earlier this year we released our second season of Postcards videos. Season 1 was filmed in the Minster during the strange summer of 2020 – when unusually the building was completely empty! Season 2 followed on in St Mary’s, another of our main homes.
Both sets of films are inspired not just by the musicians we know and love, but also by the place of Beverley – its history, its stories, its heritage, its buildings, its people. Why not revisit the whole collection between mince pies and cracker jokes?
Freeman of Beverley
At the start of the year, our Founder and Chairman Roland Deller was made an Honorary Freeman of Beverley, in recognition of the work he has done for the town. Congratulations Roland!
New Paths in pictures
A while back we created a webpage that tries to capture the essence of New Paths in pictures. Featuring images from all eleven festivals to date, starting back in 2016, there are lots of memories and smiles to be found!

We work hard to keep ticket prices affordable, but therefore depend heavily on donations to continue our work. If you enjoyed our events this year, or just smiled on our work from afar, please consider supporting us; whether your gift is small or large, it will be most gratefully received.
Spring 2024
And finally…. Plans are well underway for our Spring Festival! The programme will be announced during January, and we can’t wait to see you all 10th – 14th April. Beverley is a very special place in the springtime. Join us then!
